Allen R. Stoner is a general trial lawyer in Decatur, Alabama. He graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1987 and has been practicing law since this time. Allen defends clients accused of DUI & other crimes, Immigration/Deportation/Dream Act/Green Card, & Car Wreck Cases.
Allen is frequently consulted about Immigration laws in Alabama and how it affects north Alabama and our surrounding communities. He has been a guest on The Current-a program on Canadian Public Radio. He has been quoted in Le Monde, a French daily newspaper, Mother Jones as well as the New York Times. He has been contacted by National Public Radio and other news outlets.
He travels to Atlanta, Memphis, and Louisiana to represent clients in Immigration Court and is an advocate of helping clients complete the lawful immigration process. Allen’s goal is to provide professional competent legal services in a friendly manner.
Allen is a member of the Alabama State Bar, The Federal Courts in the Northern District of Alabama, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Allen is married and has two children. A daughter who lives in Atlanta and a son who attends Auburn University. Allen and his family are actively involved in the local community.
